Brookgreen Gardens was started in 1932 by Anna and Archer Huntington.  Their purpose for the garden was to have a place where American sculpture could be displayed.  Volume I gives information about the artists and their sculptures that are displayed at Brookgreen Gardens.  The book depicts pictures and information from the 1930's to 1970's.  It's companion book is volume II.
